I really enjoyed the shrimp pad Thai and coconut shrimp appetizer. Unlike some places, they had a nice amount of shrimp in the pad Thai. I'd order again.

J: the calamari was crispy and the sauce was sweet tangy and delicious. i wanted more as soon as i finished the plate. we'll be back soon for more calamari and sauce. i'm hispanic btw. the lunch was delectable. e: i'm asian btw. thai sweet chili is yummy, nothing special about this one though. calamari tasted so good right after it was fried and all hot. it was crunchy and the breading was so filling. the feeling of the heady weight of seasoned breadcrumbs on my tongue was exquisite.

I've lived in Garden City for a few years and Lemon Leaf Thai Restaurant was always my go to Thai place. Located on Mineola Blvd, it has frequent hospital staff regulars and regulars in the community. There is a small parking lot behind the restaurant, but there is always street parking. The service and food is always on point and even when I visit Garden City nowadays, I always try to pick up food from Lemon Leaf. I've never had anything bad from here, their food is always so flavorful and good portions. Most recently, I ordered the Thai Coconut Shrimp - Deep fried coconut breaded shrimp, Beef Drunken Noodle - Spicy stir-fried broad rice noodle with basil, onion and bell peppers, Beef Pad See Yu - Thai country-style stir-fried broad rice noodles with Chinese broccoli and eggs, and of course Thai ice tea. If you are in the area, definitely try Lemon Leaf Thai Restaurant.
